AVERT is First Physical Security Threat and Vulnerability Assessment Tool to receive SAFETY Act Certification

Albuquerque, NM - The Department of Homeland Security has certified ARES Corporation's powerful security enhancement and vulnerability assessment tool, AVERT, as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology under the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act of 2002 (the SAFETY Act).  This certification demonstrates the Department of Homeland Security's belief that AVERT can save lives in the event of a terrorist attack and is thus deserving of publicly funded liability coverage, protecting AVERT's customers in the case of an attack.  AVERT is the first and only physical security threat and vulnerability tool to receive this certification.
